I wonder if you could make a safe non-money version by having people wager things like likes and reposts like Amp, but instead of paying for the engagement it’s “beat me at a game of poker for a repost of your cast.” 

Would make it virally useful while possibly skipping over a lot of gambling regulation. (Not legal advice- “likes” on social media have been argued as “some nominal value” in some jurisdictions so still a grey area.)

🤔 It would also ease up some of the need to be very rigid on RNG like being able to use server side rng algorithms over say token use for LINK randomness you’d expect in token wagering.

True 😅 just be careful! Gambling regulations are pretty strict across the US states especially. Be prepared to have to throw in safe harbor geofencing or something like most similar stuff does.

We need more lobbying still to let the tech grow without risk of local or federal gov slapping it down. Hopefully the next year or two changes things. I know some states like CT are working on it.

maybe, but i think money is more fun. trying to figure out how to do it in the right way.
