yesterday my wife wanted to buy a pair of rollers and eventually the 3 of us ended up with them

word of advice - learn to stop without using the on-skate brake. It is a weird position to brake, it protrudes and only bothers you during skating. I took that off for me (and I am planning to take it off for my kids) the moment I pulled the roller skates out of packaging.

This video is really good. And his other videos. I am bummed I didn't do this before actually "going skating" with the kids. Do this a lot. Muscle memory is great, but if you learn it the wrong way, it's a b to get rid of bad habbits. 

She will fall. A lot. It's a part of the process. You will not be able to catch her all the time. Wear protection (head, arms, knees and elbows).
