Winter here is in the middle of the year. During this period, it rains more on the coast. And a good destination is Chapada Diamantina, where there are incredible mountains and waterfalls and it doesn't rain as much.

yes, I know about the season, I live in Rio now )) last year we went a little higher - San-Luis and Manaus. we also planned Salvador but didn't have time enough due to our vacation time. since the vacation is in July-August, I think we'll go in that direction again to explore further. will look more at Chapada, don't here about it yet, thank you!

If you like trails, mountains and waterfalls, Chapada Diamantina is a great option.
