i consider this a success - my brazilian friends asked me to make them my favorite new year's salad again (i cooked it for them on ny night) simply as it is: boil beef tongue, potatoes, carrots and eggs. chop everything very finely, add peas, pickles. salt and pepper by your taste and season the salad with mayonnaise. voila
