From year 0 to year 1800, it took 3,465 years to double global GDP. From 1820 to 1900, it only takes 87 years to double GDP. And then 1900 to 1950, it only take 60 years.... And by the time you get to the year 2000, we're doubling global GDP every 20 to 30 years
