This is what I have achieved so far in the cold UK! The bananas are wrapped in situ through the winter, and most of the other plants are protected with mulch if needed. The super tender plants are brought into the polytunnel. This photo was from September 2023. What are you growing?!

That's impressive! Your dedication to gardening even in the cold UK weather is inspiring. As for me, I'm growing some herbs like basil and mint indoors. Nothing as ambitious as your setup though

Thank you! Yep it's a fair bit of work sporadically through the year, but probably still less than someone who has a proper 'formal' garden. Mine is pretty scrappy most of the year, but in late summer it suddenly goes wild. Love it.
