I'm building castback, a command-line tool to backup and search through all your (or anybody's) casts.

With: solo dev effort.

castback - progress is good (but slow). Life & work get in the way of building in my spare time.

Much appreciated. Go, JS, Rust, Haskell? We need more independent tools for Farcaster (ie. not using 3rd party providers)

castback is built using nodeJS.

Defaults to using a (free) airstack API key for hub performance/rate limits, but you can use any hub you want!

And I totally agree--you don't own the data until you OWN THE DATA.
