As a part of first ever Base Batches, @homebase organized week-long workshop series to inspire and help based builders all around the globe.   All workshops were streamed to 1000s of people live showcasing prolific builders in Base & Farcaster ecosystem. 1/n

The workshops were organized by incredible @luciano and were streamed live for thousands of people lasting for hours every weekday (The longest stream was 9h!)

First week of @homebase workshops came to an end. Big thanks to all hosts and thousands (!!!) of participants for being part of it.

For some of the builders it was the first time they organized workshops and got such a big audience. They loved it and we feel grateful we were able to give them this opportunity.

In total we had more than 1 000 hours of watch time from people all over the globe. Builders registered to the events with more than 400 email addresses and 235 basenames.

During the workshops, builders like @jacobhomanics.eth build Homebase Map that allow builders to check in to IRL events that we integrated into our website.

@thescoho.eth built two products over two weeks: 1) Zoiner for deploying Base tokens on Farcaster, and 2) Base Match for finding team members for Base Batches and hackathons.

Homebase continues to organize livestream workshops and build session and we already have new sessions planned this week.

So far, @luciano & @rafi have spent more than 120h hosting the livestreams, coordination, meetings, video editing, web development. That does not include ideation work, late-night talks and all the thinking that came to make all of this happen.

On top of that, we cover $150 monthly subscription costs for X and StreamYard (livestreaming)

We believe that decentralized future will require more community-led initiatives like Homebase and Based Houses. We will continue our events and starting our mentoring program to encourage and support builders on Base & Farcaster.
