What’s overwritten cannot be over-overwritten. Yet another case of symbolism overtaking by social groups next to Roman salutation, rainbow, Celtic cross, and Pepe the Frog

Maybe, but these things are always changing. And hatred in particular, does not have staying power, it will eventually be lost to time while knowledge which is closer to truth stays longer. The swastika has been around for many thousands of years.

There is also distribution. Not sure about the numbers but given it’s reach, few decades of swastika-on-red reached more people globally than original one. It might be already irreversibly embedded into our collective mind.
