yeah, crazy. it makes integration tests and initial setup so much easier

That's where things are going. It's good to see big enterprises investing a lot in WebAssembly. Many big players are still in their migration to containers but they do come with their own problems

WASM has to be a strange attractor over the long time-horizon, eh?

If "everything important" going forward (meaning, every modern mainstream programming language ultimately has WASM as a 1st class-supported compilation target), we get to have really singular, clean, open/standards, common technical stack (Web/JS/WASM) of build toolchains.
