LinkedIn served me well. If one pushes away all the cringe and start posting unhinged stuff, lots of interesting people reach out. In the sea of fishes, dolphins dance. How many meaningful connections did you make on LinkedIn?

I don’t think I made any on LI itself. I usually meet people through work and conferences, and then add them on LI as a way to keep track of my network over time. I don’t like being cold-emailed by strangers on LI so I also don’t use the tool to reach out to people out of the blue
