Acting on thoughts as soon as they come has been such a positive change in my life. Years of meditation practice taught me to observe thoughts without judgment, a skill I’ve extended into my daily life beyond meditation. While this has many benefits in daily life, it does have a downside: allowing thoughts to linger and occupy my limited mindspace These thoughts, I now understand, came from somewhere for a good reason. Instead of acting on them, I used to put them away and let them torment me for days or weeks. Now in my daily life I act on my thoughts without thinking too much about them. After years of observing myself, I trust they come from a good place. And even if not, I'm ready to handle the consequences.

love reading this, many times my over thinking is in the cloud of overthinking... when we act the thought often just puff in the ether
