I like having limited choices - it makes me feel like I’m in control of my choices. Allows me to evaluate my options 

Its like diners in nyc - why is there an entire page dedicated to omlettes, how can one ever feel like they could make any sort of informed decision?

Choices are means to an end. Having too much hinders us from attaining it.

After all, when we go out to have an omlet, we simply want to have the best omlet. Otherwise, I'd make it myself. (And be most satisfied by doing so!)

Indeed - I just want the best - and it really is analysis paralysis to have too much in front of us at all times.
