Finally convinced my mother to GFTO of Tampa Bay for the rest of the week. She fought me on it, so I booked her a non-refundable 5 day stay in Orlando and told her she has to or I just wasted money. 🤣 “Normalcy Bias” is strong with Floridians. Especially the ones born and raised in NYC. Stubborn as hell.

She probably won’t enjoy it as the hurricane will go through there too, but it’s much more inland. She’s much closer to the water where she lives.
