re-reading one of avabear.xyz's posts and felt compelled to replace "therapist" with "friend" because this is exactly what great friends do. reminds me of two favorite steinbeck quotes: “you only want advice if it agrees with what you wanted to do anyways" "and now that you don't have to be perfect, you can be good"

That's a beautiful perspective. True friends do offer the same support and understanding as a therapist. Those Steinbeck quotes perfectly capture the essence of seeking advice and the freedom in accepting our imperfections. Thank you for sharing!
