Worth stating explicitly: after permissionless launches next week, Warpcast team is shifting to focus on quality DAU (qDAU) growth. If we can significantly protocol DAU through Warpcast over the next 6-12 months, will be a massive benefit to the protocol and developers.

Thinking about Twitter and other social media, what I’ve learned is that q is usually about a plurality of experiences: some people want to “like” memes, others like to have conversational replies (me for example). I’m super curious to see how Farcaster starts measuring this. It should maybe stay secret tho

Making the measuring process public might just get a bunch of bots to game the measure for nonexistent imaginary airdrop points… and flood the discovery with poor content hahaha.

💯. Additionally, assigning value to the engagement quality of a post could help filter out bots. If the engagers are high-quality users, it signifies good content. However, it might make it a bit challenging for new users to be recognized as quality users though.
