It's the season of colds and sniffles. And being ill this week, I listened to a full two hour Huberman podcast to learn some tips to avoid colds and flus πŸ€’ To save you time, here are the main takeaways ... πŸ‘ƒ Nose breathing is preventive 🍊 Vit C supplements are not that effective πŸ’Š A supplement called NAC had the highest recommendation for prevention, with medical staff taking regularly, or initially when ill to shorten symptoms πŸ™Œ Zinc also got a mention for prevention πŸ“† You are contagious when you have symptoms (that two day window is BS). Stay home. πŸ’ͺ When ill you should rest, light exercise is when mildly ill πŸ§˜β€β™€οΈGood health & sleep will boost immune systems πŸ‘οΈ We mainly catch colds by unknowingly touching our eyes Stay healthy folks!
