It's the season of colds and sniffles. And being ill this week, I listened to a full two hour Huberman podcast to learn some tips to avoid colds and flus π€ To save you time, here are the main takeaways ... π Nose breathing is preventive π Vit C supplements are not that effective π A supplement called NAC had the highest recommendation for prevention, with medical staff taking regularly, or initially when ill to shorten symptoms π Zinc also got a mention for prevention π You are contagious when you have symptoms (that two day window is BS). Stay home. πͺ When ill you should rest, light exercise is when mildly ill π§ββοΈGood health & sleep will boost immune systems ποΈ We mainly catch colds by unknowingly touching our eyes Stay healthy folks!
