It's the season of colds and sniffles. And being ill this week, I listened to a full two hour Huberman podcast to learn some tips to avoid colds and flus 🤒 To save you time, here are the main takeaways ... 👃 Nose breathing is preventive 🍊 Vit C supplements are not that effective 💊 A supplement called NAC had the highest recommendation for prevention, with medical staff taking regularly, or initially when ill to shorten symptoms 🙌 Zinc also got a mention for prevention 📆 You are contagious when you have symptoms (that two day window is BS). Stay home. 💪 When ill you should rest, light exercise is when mildly ill 🧘‍♀️Good health & sleep will boost immune systems 👁️ We mainly catch colds by unknowingly touching our eyes Stay healthy folks!

Finished reading Fire Rush by Jacqueline Crooks, and while it could have been brilliant- an action packed, journey of self discovery set in 70s/80s UK and Jamaica, set to a dub soundtrack. For me it tried to do a little too much. Fewer subplots and deeper character exploration could have taken it to the next level. Still a decent read though. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
