being trans is just foreign enough, right on the edge of relatable, that most will eyes-down mind-own-business while their livelihoods are taken by those who angrily oppose the insignificant difference

I use to be embarrassed. now I just have eyes open ashamed of what decent people will allow. not a shred of guilt or uncertainty left in me. good people are looking the other way cause they’re conflicted cowards. full stop

it is temporary but lately I've questioned how much it'll come down to any tangible action. like it'll be over when people find something new to hate or if there's suddenly a ton of lovable trans icons in music/entertainment, not cause people unlearn the transphobic propaganda

It is my hope that our fight is still strong and this is temporary…that the impact will not be the next gen m fixing our failures but that we will have overcome our failures and they can be the generation of positive action we need so bad b/c they lived the inaction and regression.
