Out of all the successful startups I worked with at @alliancedao I don’t recall single one that didn’t see their original thesis partially or completely invalidated. Pivots (partial or complete) are the rule not the exception

Something you had shared earlier that crypto products grow in steps:staircase mode. Do you have thoughts on How can founders arrive at a decision of do they need a pivot or do they need to keep building for a bit longer to reach the growth phase

That’s the billion dollar question and i don’t have one size fit all answer Typically I need to sit down with the founder to understand their particular situation deeply and sometimes may be able to offer actionable advice. But even then conviction level is never high.

I will say one thing though which is that if your retention is high and have 100 users that love your product it’s a good sign. If not and you’ve tried all your best ideas it’s a sign to consider pivoting. But reality is often not black and white as this.
