i've published a post and realized that there's an edit i need to make. will republishing send out another newsletter blast to subscribers? or would it just show the updated post for future readers, whether it be on site or in a frame?

No, it would not send out another newsletter to subscribers unless you explicitly unpublish and republish it while selecting that setting again.

If you simply type or click "edit", then it will show the updated post for all future readers (and in-frame)
