I just found Zed, and it is amazing. The responsiveness vs VS Code is night and day. Going to kick the tires on this for the next few weeks, but it looks like I have a new default editor.

Oh will check it out. What do you like about it compared to say cursor @quest ? Mainly just speed? Any other features AI or otherwise?

Mainly speed, the extensions are less bloated, and they require less configuration.

The AI options are in a different tab, and it doesn't offer the same level of autocomplete as Cursor, so it could use a little improvement on that front.

So far I have tested it with JavaScript, Python, Ruby and Go.

Ah that’s cool. I’ll take it for a spin. What languages have you tested it with?
