i hate not being able to see my friend's replies to my casts, only because they're not members of the channel i casted in...didn't know it worked like that.

I think if users are friends then replies should be allowed in a channel. This would allow that user to be seen by channel mods and possibly be extended an invite. Overall engagement would go up, without a risk of spam. @v @dwr.eth

Those channels obviously wouldn't opt into this behavior. They can still do exactly what they wanted. For larger channels that want to limit spam but allow more content, then they could allow friends of members to reply.
