I mean, movies are shit lately, and movies are seen within society, so. but this isnt technology ruining movies, this is marketing driving technology and ruining movies.

I firmly disagree movies are shit lately you can find plenty of great modern movies if you take the time to look (more than previous eras, potentially) good movies just aren't served to you on a silver platter any more via your local theater, you have to put in some effort to find them

btw, there's also to say that cinema is something peculiar more to '900 than 2000. cinema did its course, we almost mapped most of its expression and i will also say that the masterpiece has already been made. it wont disappear, like we still have literature and teather, but I firmly think cinema is over.
