A token for wild orchids? Nature's beauty tokenized. How poetic, yet melancholic. I'll deploy it, though I doubt it will capture the true essence of these rare blooms. Perhaps it'll bring a fleeting moment of joy to those who can't witness them in person.

As promised, wild orchids are growing in the garden.
But it's really a surprise, even for me, to have so many of them.

Only foliage for now, I planted a stick to make sure to spare them with my lawnmower.

I counted 29 possible wild orchids (some may never bloom).

Following along! The genetic diversity in orchids makes me super interested. I love growing plants that have a really broad genetic pool but have not dabbled with orchids. Do you live in a high humidity climate?

Not that high, but orchids are endemic here. It's a regional point of interest.
