Recently was shared with me, something along the lines of:

“Hating others is mainly an inconvenience for you - doesn’t affect others, it really just ruins your experience of the world”

There's nuance to it but generally "hating" is the same as caring is the same as any other type of attention, and as we know, thoughts become things. Focusing on hating tends to produce more of the hated things (big handwave)

The "living well is the the best revenge" idea is true
