This is a technical observation. When something by is sandwiched, it’s by two separate objects, not one thing that’s been bent into two sides. Soooooo hotdog and taco are indeed not sandwiched…😆

Tacos can't be called a sandwich because that would automatically make sharwama, burgers and even hotdogs sandwich too The bread used are distinct, that difference alone changes everything especially the taste

Even if it is within some strict definition, no one will find it normal to be handed a hotdog or a taco when they ask for a sandwich. Same for tomatoes which no one eats as if it’s a fruit. I think how something is used or consumed trumps the literal definition here.

Nope, neither are burgers, or tacos. Is this why I’m ineligible to vote? Sandwiches can be eaten cold or hot and are sandwiched between two slices of bread. Tacos are amazing, flour tortillas don’t count. Maiz all the way.
