On reflection, kind of interesting the way that automation manages to eliminate network-based moats: Uber -> moat of drivers disappears in a world of autonomous cars. FB/Twitter -> moat of in-network content creators disappears in favor of algorithmic feed and eventually synthetic content.

Stack Overflow -> Copilot, GPTChat etc... Basically a whole gen of networks benefited from digitizing supplier networks, but now that that service can be performed by machines, the moat goes poof. Wonder what other networks are vulnerable...

You might actually generalize. Nothing special about networks per se. They're just one kind of moat that machine-based-supply can eliminate. Theoretically, netflix, spotify are vulnerable to synthetic media...
