It sucks in the midst of it, but I’m not convinced the suck is materially worse than the alternative. Just different? 🤷

Would be curious to hear from a founder who has raised institutional capital for one startup AND bootstrapped another. @linda

I have raised before and am now running multiple side projects generating ok MRR. These projects have actually generated more revenue than the vc-backed one before it shut down.

The unlock has been ai-code development. 

I've been able to iterate and quickly launch ideas that have stuck.

The difference is I'm aware these aren't venture products and I'm not interested.

Goal is to grow several projects to generate combined 30k+ per month in 'passive" income. And I can do that now as a solo builder.

When I find that idea that is venture worthy, I'd go back that way. But am now far more circumspect about what is actually venture worthy.
