Would love to see an even more flexible version of this: minters can pay with any token the minter wants, and creators can get paid out in any token the creator wants. 

The ERC20 gets bridged and auto-converted behind the scenes.

We do! Already support paying in any currency and we swap using Uniswap. Soon relay will support native swaps in major currencies (ETH/USDC) to make more efficient and avoid onchain swap where possible

In fact, Zora might already be using it. Need to check on the implementation :)
