@pushix @stevedylandev.eth Curious if you guys have had a chance to compare ZedAI with Cursor. I know you both don't love the weight of VS Code style editors but curious if ZedAI feels like it keeps pace with Cursor's productivity gains

It does not. They have the basics, but it doesn’t feel there yet. They do some things well, the / commands are quite good for example, but they don’t have enough “auto context” magic, and the inline assist doesn’t do multi line diffs well at all. Cursors cmd + k inline is really good, like full of little details good

Yeah I’ve found I mostly use the cmd+k functionality to keep the ai work scoped to a specific section so that a small unnoticed changed doesn’t derail things. I think that as the dif visual implementation improves, I may try composer again.
