Inspired by @brenner.eth , I started using chatGPT as a coding assistant. I was a bit reticent and it wasn't obvious at first how to use it, but after a couple of days of use now I'm 100% going to pay the 42$/month (and I'm usually really stingy with subscriptions). I think there should be a "company saas" plan.

How do you know if you are pasting in your company’s proprietary info or not when you are looking for coding help or writing help.

This is really interesting. You should screen-record your process. I would definitely watch. Unless it has become a trade secret ;)

Do you also use GitHub co-pilot? I feel it being integrated with the editor and output being pure code makes it a pretty good helper.

yeah i've been using it to "talk through problems". i've noticed it's really good at js/ts, python; but outdated/misleading in solidity.

I used chatGPT to write out a fast html app and it was great. Flow was… “write me a html skeleton with a style and script tag”, then “using the above example, can you add a function for touching the screen?” and then… “can we use that function to turn the background color blue when the screen is touched?

I use it too, not everyday though. I experienced chatgbp to "hallucinate" 3 times: 1. It told me about configuration option which doesn't exist. 2. It suggested me to use javascript solution which did not do what it promised me. 3. It generated fake github repo addressed when asked for libraries for specific tasks.
