What makes an artist successful and how you define a successful one?

Difficult question to answer, for me. 🤔 🤔 
Is a very subjective thing.

I 1000% feel you on this one.

But I think the art market rather focuses on sales volumes, exhibitions, and stuff like that

For me, the successful artist is the one who puts passion and love into what he does, no matter what happens, continuing to create. If money drives the artist, he is not a successful artist, but a manager.
