Any platform that isn’t serving creators with a majority of the revenue they make from creators creating is extracting value from the creators Tools/resources made for use by Creators should serve & raise the Creators further ability to create, as a positive symbiotic flywheel. Platforms/services that don’t do this are more often parasitic

The reality is that anything that includes fiscal systems will need to handle extraction & extractionary people Was talking about this with @samuellhuber.eth the other day The not-secret/better implemented sauce is to structure in a strategic way that limits the farmers/extraction while benefiting the long term project/builders/creators etc How do you know a project is looking downfield? Partly, the farmers complain about time vs reward. The real community is stoked to get a reward for doing what they want to support/be a part of anyways 🫡 Build Better on Base 🫡 That’s something @diviflyy & I aim to do with everything /glanker & you can see a similar focus with @proxystudio.eth as well 🙏 Excited to demo better ways with all we’re working on/towards

I feel you bro. But (as the real world is) you got good people, and bad people. The ammount of good people working everyday because the believe in something is enormous. But it’s the exact same count for the greedy mfers. Idk bro, it might be only an artist thing, but I’m sure I’m not the only one struggling to get noticed in speculative art environment.

Definitely not just you, and not just an artist thing. Years ago I was doing a lot more photography, writing, creating content stuff (before it even got huge) and there is always a struggle to pierce the noise with signal. Money helps ofc. Marketing budget etc. Strategy is important. Also luck. It's not an easy nut to crack, but I think we've got some tools coming lol. Ultimately... it's also about doing work you can be proud of :)
