Is it illegal to give away money to followers?

What if I said I would give 1 ETH to a randomly chosen follower this Friday? 

Screw it, let's do it. I'm gonna give someone 1 ETH on Friday.

I’d take that money off chain and convert it to my local currency to start a poultry farm. I had a terrible experience with eggs recently, not only was the brand expensive, they also sold bad eggs under a valid date.

Also considering other protein options are more expensive, I’d love to start supplying eggs at an affordable rate first to my community and expand further.
