My brother is a CPA VP Finance guy So he would explain how demands to increase wages etc wouldn't help as the people that control (CEO's etc) just increase prices, decrease amount given per transaction for same amount of money, cut workers etc in order to continue their year over year gains... Yep...

But this is the inherent contradictions in capitalism that marx predicted that capitalists would never be able to solve and that would always on a long enough timeline cause the material conditions of the workers to break down that would bring capitalisms demise

I do not support "the end of capitalism" but I also understand that today our political system would probably not put a regulatory check on cigarettes so not really sure what the plan is

But like what is the end of capitalism? Even lenin realized that capitalism had gotten to big to replace and his post revolutionary economic plan included a free market system with for profit markets

Same with China, if you want the best for the workers, you have to atleast in this political climate internationally some "capitalism" what's important is how the workers are protected

In lenins nep of 1924 private business owners owned their business and profited from workers labor China I'm not super knowledgeable on but as I understand it the state owns the land but the company owns the business (on the private side )

The eventual goals of these plans is to build up a strong economy then phase into a socialized system where the workers then take over control of the enterprise( in theroy)
