Aren’t psychedelics brain poison?

I mean, I'm not going to argue the effects on psychedelics on the brain, especially considering how biased a majority of those studies are. But ayahuasca specifically has been used for 1000s of years, Is just dmt ,and multiple studies say that it doesn't have any long-term negative effects on brains or bodies https://adf.org.au/drug-facts/ayahuasca/

But wasn’t it always like a ritual vibe that took a bit of prep…weeks/months?

I mean again i don't claim to know all the shaministic rituals of every ancient Amazonian tribe, but again these were religious ceremonies majority of religious ceremonies have similar tradions in terms of preparing ones mind and body. But like also similar psychedelics with similar tradional practices ( in terms of preparation ceremonies) are being used in pretty much every country but America to stop any type of addiction, with no negative side effects, so like yeah the shaminisric tradions are important culturally and historically but in terms of actual safety and shit ( I mean a lot of these tradions revolve around them consuming the body and essence of the god like with Amazonian tribes and lsa they believed the seeds contained the actual essence of the fire god and they were ingesting it) I don't think really mean much in terms of usage

It’s too intense, I’d say no. What is it that made you want to do it or what is it you were looking for in the trip.
