If this is tarrif baseline then this is a nail in coffin, manufacturing will stay overseas ( it's not enough to get companies to re shore) will raise cost, and will be a massive barrier if us is seeking additional imports from countries on top of these tariffs. Who’s going to re-shore in an uncertain environment? A large berry grower I know was due to expand but the expansion will cost lots of $$. Deploying capital now is way riskier than it’s been in years and so folks will just hunker down. Consumers & businesses alike.

I mean who's going to reshore at the extreme costs of re routing supply chains, over a 10% tariff? Like even if certainty there's no real economic advantage
