Today he’s going to hand out coats and blankets. “Going to be getting cold and I want to make sure everyone survives” 

This is a noble and kind thing to do and I applaud him. But Texans broadly are out to lunch. The cold in question is a max low of 55F with highs in the high 70s 💀

Lmfao while not cold cold, you'll see( this is your first "winter" down here yea?) Plus it's about to hit rainy season, while not as bad as winters in like Minnesota or denver, it's definitely got unique challenges esspecialy for homeless population

It'll def cut that down some the next like month and a half

There was just a huge fire by me bc homeless ppl accidentally burned down where they were squatting, and the guy who is giving out the coats says to expect that to escalate. I hope the coats help 😭
