gm With warpcast rolling out native base USDC payments to Farcaster accounts last week, I decided to take a look at how much USDC has been sent between Farcaster users over time (looking at transfers onchain between verified addresses) In total over $1.45M USDC has been sent between FC users (since Sept 2023) Some takeaways: - March seems to have been the biggest month both from the amount of USDC flows between accounts and the number of transfers overall. Any ideas what drove this? - @bountycaster rewards account for a significant portion of large user to user transactions (100 USDC and above) - The latest native payments feature hasn't made a big bump in numbers yet. Fading $mfer will go down as one of the biggest fumbles imo. One of the most engaged communities - mfers have been non-stop memeing & making art. This was *during* the bear AND after a 70%+ price correction. Study communities that still build and don't fear price. Bullish.
