Currently working on a personal blog post about self taught programming and remembered how I used to ship stuff. Was just a server on dreamhost that also had the domain I purchased. Just used FileZilla to drop html css and js files into the right folder, and that was it. No version control, no GitHub, no CI/CD. Just overwriting files to a cloud. Sounds awful now, but also kind of nostalgic. The lesson: just ship it, donβt worry about the how.
