News from the land of the banned

I'm excluded from the rewards for the second week, as well as some of my friends. Got no response from the Merkle team, so I've been playing amateur detective and gathering the clues:

1. Apparently this week everyone got their rewards in the Warpcast wallet, whether they liked it or not (1). Our Warpcast wallets say Unsupported region, so we can't get the rewards there, so I guess it was easier to throw us out completely without an explanation.

2. Some of the people from the same region do not have the status of Unsupported region in their wallet, so they can use the wallet and get the rewards (2). The conspiracy theorists among us are wondering if maybe it is a targeted attack on the most visible users.

3. I was waiting for a usual weekly update about the rewards from the team to see if it clears things up, but it left me more confused (3). Am I excluded because I'm in a second group and they don't know which country I'm in? The wallet geoblock says otherwise.

US crypto startups needing to follow all US sanctions when dealing with payments is always the toughest part. i see that ted has already reached out to help. hoping there’s a way to keep you on farcaster 🥲

You know, I understand regulations. But not when it feels like I'm singled out and have no way to influence that decision. Each of my neighbours that got the wallet after me somehow doesn't have that geoblock. I'd gladly do a KYC to show that I'm a resident of an unsanctioned location. But they haven't given me that option.

Still haven't got any explanations unfortunately, but I'm waiting.
