learning that people can’t imagine how things look or don’t have an internal monologue is like discovering a new species. literally wtf how do you live like this

i have an inner monologue but 4 in the linked chart for visualization scale

I didn't even know it was possible to be a 1 or 2

as a kid i was able to start fully controlled dreams before falling asleep. could imagine lifelike anything with my eyes closed and then transition into sleeping and dreaming about it. 

that went away as i got older but i can still visualize things in my head quite well

that’s crazy 

I don’t think I can mentally visualize anything I haven’t seen in some form (eg movie, image, real life)

I can _understand_ it without visualizing it which is why I didn’t even know that full visualization was a thing

it’s funny that people think no visualization is crazy while before today I didn’t even know that full visualization was possible lol

we live in completely different realities our whole lives. thanks to the internet for making us question them
