I want to highlight a specific part of a video call *during* the call. Sort of like how a dash cam works - it's recording, I hit a button, it saves the previous + following 15s. Know of any tools that do this?

oh cool - this sounds similar to what i have in mind - thank you! have you used this? i'd pay monthly to have clips auto uploaded and shareable via a url

no i haven't used it β don't have a need for it personally. i use medal.tv for clipping games on my windows pc though, which seems like a similar idea. sounds like there is an opportunity for an app that does exactly what you're describing but for actual work and productivity reasons π€

i've never done any native desktop apps requiring os permissions so it feels daunting. but lots of good apps right now that have the onboarding for this type of thing figured out - granola and wisprflow are the two that come to mind
