Farcaster

Anybody got any theories on why no 3rd party Telegram app has got any traction? Also why there don't seem to be any really good ones? 

seems there could be ways to monetize them (free with scale + affiliate/txs/ads)

there were a few alternatives that i’ve seen a few years ago. 

i imagine the problem is telegram ships so fast and people want new features that alt clients don’t support.
