Has anyone done a programmatic export of a historical Telegram feed. I want to pull history to start training an LLM down the line. What's the fast-rope on approaching the Telegram API? Is there a smart entry point to all this, any "gotcha avoidance" advice?

you can do it from the client. it will spit out an html file with the full chat history. then you feed that to the LLM. desktop.telegram.org

The 24hr delay before export is an interesting (and smart) security detail of the design.

Oh, great! Thanks @pugson That's easier that getting dirty with the API. Been doing the same with Evernote. Man, the SaaS era will seem like the "dark ages" when we look back at it, where we lost most of our most important data - the digital exhaust of our stream of consciousness - now super valuable to LLM's pissed against the wall of "someone else's DB and extractive business model"...but no more! Thank man, appreciate this!
