github copilot makes it possible to program in a language you don't know. just used it to write a python script that works perfectly and i don't even know any python

100%, used it to debug some Rust code the other day. It’s amazing

i was rewriting a bash script in Go, and I pasted in the bash script as a comment and then wrote

and it did it perfectly

weirdly enough it writes my js for me, too

I've found GPT-3 is also amazing at translating code you've written in one language to another!

Useful for quick'n'dirty stuff. Kinda scary if you care about correctness tho.
