wish there was a way to link your fc account to github or something so i could follow real people who are just joining. 

it all seems like a stream of bots now — very hard to distinguish who’s not a spammer, farmer, or username flipper.

I’m a lot more anxious about the spammers. At the start atleast, we’re all going to have to keep reporting.

You can get this automatically with NextID (https://docs.next.id/). 

Rather than making the user connect github to every service they use, show the connections they’ve already made. Then rank the feed with accounts with more connections and deeper engagement across those connections.
