wrt the latest gender kerfuffle i think @proxystudio.eth said it best here! i am once again asking you to remember that how farcaster looks to a rando woman on twitter or elsewhere is not how it looks to us, my suspicion is that ppl's viewpoints here are really skewed due to group chats

where is this from? I've engaged with way more women on Farcaster than I ever did in any of the 200 discords I'm in or ever did in Crypto Twitter (probably combined lol).

this is from my newsletter today, in response to MP's shitpost on twitter talking about which crypto app has better representation in an industry that is overwhelmingly male dominated feels like an exercise in futility. we need to welcome many more people into this network, this industry, generally. my hot take was that this will come first from the networks of people active here, like you both! :)

too me a minute to find the "shit post" lol And see I need to actually read the newsletter and I would have saved myself a lot of time And agree -- it will come. We are an industry made up of mostly tech (27% women) so unsurprising. I'll say that FarcastHER has made it way easier to find women to follow on here. I've had way more great convos and connections with women in crypto because of Farcaster than the 200 discords and crypto twitter. btw been telling Valko he should be over here for like a year!
