Think of it as communism, but for journalists. Many journos are self proclaimed socialists. So, as per their request, we are redistributing the wealth of newspaper barons to people around the world. Tear down that paywall! And power up citizen journalists around the world…

@balajis.eth how do you account for the significant gap in quality between 99% of casts and most newspaper articles casts & articles share very little in common, this concept seems to just wave that away with "AI" this feels more like a political project than something practical

without the strange NY Times replacement angle its actually an interesting idea - how can AI help categorize and give narrative to a feed of posts? but this is a complex issue, and people won't be as attracted to it like they are if you make it political, and play to a vaguely populist, anti-mainstream media angle
